Wildlife Gardens
The brief for this garden was to create a wildlife friendly garden and a place suitable for meditating. A calm, tranquil feeling required without the use of a lawn but to also feel modern.
Wildlife gardens call for the implementation of ponds or pools which need gently sloping sides to enable access to and from the water for the wildlife. Hibernation and breeding habitat includes rock & log piles, hedge hog boxes, bird & bat boxes. Native and carefully chosen planting encourages wildlife and sustains it.
